MIS Lab

The Broad School Management Information Systems microcomputer laboratory has been designed for lecture-based teaching as well as hands-on training in multiple business computing applications. The lab includes a multifunctional instructor workstation that has the capabilities to run MS Windows applications, play CD/DVD/VHS media and project to a large screen at the front of the room. The MIS lab is equipped with 24 student MS Windows based workstations with 17″ flat panel monitors.

Broad graduate and undergraduate students from all college majors can access and are instructed in the use of state-of-the-art business applications such as IBM Supply Chain Analyzer, i2 Supply Chain Strategist, Arena, Oracle Designer, Microsoft Project, and Macromedia Studio. All stations have Ethernet connections to the World Wide Web for internet connectivity as well as access to file and print services.
