The following steps detail how to setup your Android device to connect to your business email account.
Note: This is for Android 2.3, not all Android phones are identical.
Press the Launcher button
Select Settings
Select Accounts & sync
Select Add account
Enter your email address (username@bus.msu.edu) and password, then press Next
Verify that Domain\Username is set to “business\[your user name]” (where [your user name] is your email address without the “@bus.msu.edu”).
Also verify that the Server is set to “mail.bus.msu.edu” and that Use secure connection (SSL) is checked.
Wait for the account to be verified. This may take several minutes
After your account is verified, choose your preferences and press Next
Your account is now set up. You may choose a name for the account if you would like, but it is not necessary.
To access your email, select the Email icon within the launcher menu.
